Case -1:

Findings: 

Observed focal seizures for the first time involving upper limb movements and staring look in the opd 

EEG was taken along with MRI 

But nothing was found to be the cause 

Case -2 :

Experience: 

Learnt how to communicate with the patient even though there was communication was language barrier.

Findings: 

Compartment syndrome fasciotomy was done outside came with anemia and uncontrolled sugars 

Learnt about oha induced hypoglycaemia and caution of using oha drugs 

Learnt about 7 point profile monitoring of Grbs

And also the need for aseptic conditions and precautions

Performed Ascitic tap twice on this patient with the help of Pgs

Observed GI polyps on endoscopy 

And also biopsy for oral sub mucosal fibrosis

Learnt how to assess the patient with hemoptysis 

And about respiratory sounds both normal and abnormal

Experience: 

Performed Pleuritic tap for the first time with the help of pgs both therapeutic and diagnostic 

During ICU Duties:-

-Vitals and GRBS monitoring of ICU and AMC patients

-learnt and done CPR for 2 intubated patients and 2 dialysis patients 

-Collected ABG samples for patients 

-Tried inserting ryles tube and foleys catheter 

-Learnt how to read a 2D echo report and ecg basics and mi changes 

NEPHRO DUTY:

Handled Day care patients who came for dialysis. 

Learnt about central line and assisted in 3 central line procedures and done suturing at last of procedure for 2 patients.

Learnt about fistula for dialysis.

Handled cases which came in emergencies with help of my PGs. 

Learnt about govt policies helping the patients in renal failure and need for hemodialysis 

Learnt about dialysis machine and what all infections a pt can get by not maintaining proper hygiene of the central line 

Learnt about drugs used in hypo and hypertension.
